Family Stroll Walk – Celebrating Father’s Day Weekend

Saturday, June 14, 2025
Woodmore Towne Centre Park, 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM

Join us for the Family Stroll Walk, a vibrant and meaningful event designed to celebrate Father’s Day Weekend by bringing together families of all kinds for a morning of connection, community, and celebration.

This walk isn’t just about dads — it’s about all of us: parents, grandparents, guardians, caregivers, children, neighbors, and friends. We’re walking to honor the role that families and communities play in shaping a healthy, supported, and thriving quality of life — especially for our fathers, men and boys.

🌟 What to Expect:

  • Community Meet-Up at 8:30 AM at the gazebo in Woodmore Towne Centre Park

  • Family-friendly 1-hour walk from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM through the park’s scenic paths

  • Group photo at 10:15 AM to capture the joy and togetherness of the morning

  • Light refreshments and music

  • Opportunities to connect with local organizations that support family wellness and community leadership

💬 Why It Matters:

Too often, Father’s Day goes by without recognizing the broader community that lifts up our families. Whether you're a father, mother, auntie, grandfather, or mentor — this event is for you. The Family Stroll Walk affirms the value of love, caregiving, and intergenerational support, while promoting active living and positive community spirit.

This is more than a walk — it’s a moment to uplift and unify, to model healthy relationships and affirm that every family deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated.

🎉 Who Should Come:

Everyone!

  • Parents and children

  • Grandparents and extended family

  • Community leaders and local advocates

  • Faith-based groups and neighborhood organizations

  • Anyone who believes in the power of family and community

Register or just show up!

This is a free, family-focused event, and we encourage you to bring a stroller, a lawn chair, or just your comfortable walking shoes.

Come walk with us in love, strength, and unity — because when families walk together, communities move forward together.
